Mixing head technology

Flexibly adaptable technology

Advantages of our technology

Why mixhead technology from PROMERA?

Our mixing heads are available in various designs. With flexible customization options, they integrate seamlessly into your production processes and ensure consistently high-quality results. Our modular systems allow you to assemble complex units that cover functions such as mixing components, changing materials, rinsing, and recirculation.

A distinctive feature of our mixing head technology is the recirculation of all fluids before they enter the mixing chamber, which ensures that all materials arrive in the mixing chamber immediately in the correct mixing ratio.

Our mixing head technologies at a glance

High-pressure mixing head

Area of application:
For 1-, 2- and multi-component dosing systems.

Working pressure:
Up to 250 bar.

Materials:
Hard anodized, PTFE-coated aluminium, seals made of PTFE, FKM or Viton.

Special features:

  • Pneumatically controlled valves.
  • Suitable for abrasive paints and varnishes.
  • Robust design for industrial requirements.
  • Modular system: Color mixing and interchangeable systems with any number of components possible.

Low pressure mixing head

Low-pressure mixing head with hose connections and fastening elements Low-pressure mixing head with multiple connection points Low-pressure mixing head with connections Visualization of low-pressure mixing head with two component connections and valves

Area of application:
Versatile use in dosing systems with low working pressure.

Working pressure:
Up to 6 bar.

Materials:
Stainless steel or hard-anodized, PTFE-coated aluminium, seals made of PTFE, FKM or Viton.

Optional features:

  • Tempered version up to 130 °C.
  • Pressure and temperature measurement in the material possible.
  • Control by pneumatic or hydraulic valves.

2-component high-pressure manual mixing head

Lightweight & ergonomic – ideal as a replacement for cartridge systems.

Applications:
Application of polyurethane systems directly from large containers. When used in conjunction with a properly designed metering system, it replaces conventional cartridge systems.

Materials:
Hard-anodized, PTFE-coated aluminum, stainless steel fittings, PTFE hoses, seals made of PTFE, FKM, or Viton.

Special features:

  • Ergonomic design and low weight.
  • Replaceable plastic mixing element.
  • Environmentally friendly and cost-effective compared to disposable cartridges.

Robotic 2K High-Pressure Mixing Head

This high-pressure mixing head was specially developed for robot-assisted 2K application of demanding materials such as PU systems or sealants.

What makes this component particularly notable is its low weight of just 8 kg at an operating pressure of up to 200 bar, which enables maximum dynamics and precision on industrial robots. The maintenance-friendly design also allows wear parts to be replaced without having to re-calibrate the tool, thereby minimizing downtime in mass production.

Areas of application

Our mixing head technology is used in various industries, including the automotive industry, the plastics and rubber industry and medical technology. It is ideal for processing polyurethane, silicones and other chemical materials.
