The hydraulic metering unit is a component of our PROMERA diaphragm metering technology. It meters hydraulic oil with high precision and feeds it into a diaphragm chamber. A servo motor, coupled with a reduction gear and a ball screw, moves the metering plunger, thereby conveying the hydraulic oil into the chamber without loss.
High precision is achieved through a precise drive system with 8,000 steps per millimeter and pressure equalization between the cylinder chambers. This pressure equalization minimizes the driving forces and reduces wear on the seals, ensuring smooth, jerk-free movement.
Double-diaphragm technology enables the lossless conversion of hydraulic flow into an identical fluid flow and reliably separates the fluids. This ensures consistently precise dosing quality, creating optimal conditions for chemical mixing processes.
